Lent Groups 2026

We are running two Lent Groups for 2026, each the same, of 5 sessions to follow the Pilgrim Course on ‘Church and Kingdom’. A pilgrimage is best undertaken in the company of others so why not join us either in person or on Zoom. You are welcome to join us, either:

Monday 2-3.30pm beginning on Feb 23rd in St Owen’s Fellowship Room Bromham, or;
Wednesdays 7pm- 8.30pm on Zoom beginning on Feb 25th (please contact Sarah for the link)

St Owen’s Prayer Group

‘Jesus said, ‘Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.’ (Matthew 18:20)

The Prayer Group is a meeting of fellowship with Christians of different denominations. We meet together in each other’s homes every Thursday morning between 10:30 – 12 noon during the winter months and after Easter in the church until October, weather permitting.

Each meeting gives an opportunity for sharing prayer concerns and we have a variety of ways to lead us into prayer – a bible reading, a piece of music and singing of hymns. The time is relaxed and peaceful and the group welcomes anyone who would like to come to any of the meetings and also it receives confidential prayer requests.

St Owen’s Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain comprises of a group of praying people who can be asked to pray for someone in immediate need or crisis. Any prayer request is passed quickly round the chain through phone calls; it is totally confidential and is very comforting to the recipients that they, their family or friends are being held in God’s love.
