News and Notices:

Thanks:
Di thanks everyone for the cards, messages, flowers, good wishes and prayers, it was much appreciated. It’s lovely to be back in the community again.

Thanks to those who organised the lunch for the staff at our Church School of Bromham and to Flora for organising the St. Owen’s Women’s Fellowship Eucharist.

Spiritual matters! Opportunities for spiritual top up

Alpha Course: If the course is to succeed we need final numbers today for the first session which is on Thursday 9th September. We need 20 people to make it viable. It would be a shame to cancel it because the fellowship is wonderful and we owe it to others to share our faith. Have a word with Linda or Martin today.

Quiet Day – Thursday, 9th September 10.00-15.00 see Diary dates.

Exploring Spirituality Day see Diary dates

Benefice Vision Day: Today is your last chance to book your place – hand in your booking form, don’t miss this opportunity to share your vision for the development of the church in this Benefice.

Children’s Work: A special evening for those interested in Children’s work. The Revd Ruth Pyke the Diocesan Children’s Worker is coming to encourage us to build our ministry to children on Wednesday, 20th October at 19.30. Put the date in your diary now if you would like to help in any of the three churches in the Benefice in any way, however small, it could be just in a supporting role.
