Pastoral Committee to convene when Lent House Group material arrives.

 

Food Parcels – emergency rations are given out on a regular basis at Bedford’s Salvation Army, often to those whose benefits are late.

There is a box in church and through Lent for people wishing to donate tins, non-perishables.

 

St. Mary’s House Oakley (curate’s house): There is some final painting work still to be done and the garden to tackle.

 Has anyone got a few hours to offer, otherwise it falls to just a couple of people. Contact Churchwardens or Di.

 

Bromham Churchyard: If you are able to offer time and gardening skills we need someone to trim the low box hedge around the Garden of Remembrance in Bromham.

Please talk to Churchwardens if you can offer help.

 

Bromham Coffee Drop-in – Friday, 3rd February at Heather Bottom’s, 73 Wingfield Road and will be in aid of the new scanner at Bedford Hospital.

 

Healing Service on Tuesday, 7th February. This is a gentle reflective service with a Eucharist which everyone is welcome to attend.

Soup Lunch at St. Mary’s Church, Oakley on Sunday, 19th February between 12.30-2.30pm.
Cost £5 adult and Children U10 Free. Includes Soup, Bread, Cheese & biscuits, tea or coffee.     Raffle.
