PARISH FUNDING - WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?

You might be surprised to learn that we don't get any money from the Diocese to fund our church, in fact, we have to supply money to them!

Each Parish pays a Parish Share annually to the Diocese, most of which is used to provide a paid minister.  The following shows a breakdown of its use:

Each parish has to fund the Parish Share, in addition to the other costs of running the church, including repairs and upkeep, and for the

churches mission.

The figures below show our parish shares for the current year, and the corresponding required weekly incomes, taking into account all other expenses.
